No-nonsense substance
Empathetic process
In our mediations, we act as a neutral third party to help families come to agreement on important issues such as:
- Separation
- Support
- Parenting time
- Child custody
- Divorce
Our role is to help parties resolve their current conflicts and anticipate future problems. Her no-nonsense and understanding approach works well for many families in conflict. Every family situation is different. We customize mediation sessions for each family to meet their particular needs.
Is mediation right for you?
Mediation is a great tool for helping parties avoid unnecessarily contentious litigation.
Mediation relies on the honest exchange of information between individuals.
Both parties must agree to mediate.
Mediation it is not a substitute for attorney review, and knowing your legal rights. We can refer you to lawyers with reasonable fees that will help—not hinder—an agreement.
We encourage parties to create solutions that tailor-fit their family. These solutions tend to be longer-lasting and individuals tend to be more satisfied with agreements that they created.
Customize the mediation process to suit your family
Create an agreement that fits your needs
Define your future on your own terms
Avoid needless and expensive hours of fighting for the sake of fighting
Mediation saves money and it reduces the emotional strain compared to a contested case in the courts.
Families of Children With Special Needs:
Families of children with special needs, such as physical limitations, autism and learning limitations, often have extra pressures that require a special sensitivity.
Because of the ongoing requirements of a special needs child, and the sibling(s) of a special needs child, these families often benefit from working out an agreement that is customized to fit the family and the child for today, tomorrow and into the future. We can get you in touch with other professionals, who may be able to assist you in setting up special needs trusts, and other types of planning for your child.
In prioritizing family resources, and enabling parents to continue to work together to aid the special needs child, mediation for families with a special need child is especially effective.
